Fansbuy buying help: QC, returns, storage and costs
Resolve the next purchase or parcel decision: what to check, what to keep and when to ask Fansbuy support.
Build a budget before topping up
Allow for the seller’s product price, domestic delivery, any purchase or payment charges, optional warehouse services, international freight and destination taxes or handling. The final parcel cost depends on the line, actual or volumetric weight, dimensions and the goods accepted. A product-page price is not a delivered total.
Fansbuy’s service-fee help says purchasing is free, while public checkout material and withdrawal guidance refer to an 8% service fee. Payment handling is another line item. This is a published inconsistency, not evidence that every account pays the same total. Read the current amount breakdown before confirming or funding a wallet.
Wallet payments, notices and withdrawals · Deposit versus final shipping charge
A practical budget for goods now and shipping later
Write down the item cost and the relevant domestic delivery first, then reserve a second amount for international shipping. The later bill depends on selected goods, protection, packed dimensions and route. Payment conversion, requested services and applicable destination charges may also contribute. A zero or small purchasing fee does not describe that total.
Suppose you add a boxed accessory to a clothing parcel. It may change volume, packing needs and route eligibility, so rerun the comparison rather than reusing the old estimate. Check whether a deposit can be adjusted and which authorisation governs a further deduction. Keep the original estimate, final invoice and balance entry. A credit back to the account and a completed withdrawal to a payment provider are separate events.
Check the warehouse item before deciding to ship
Compare the saved seller listing, requested variant and warehouse photos. Look at labels, seams or surfaces relevant to the item, visible damage and quantity. Ask for a clear ruler measurement when a label alone cannot answer a fit question.
Public photo guidance is inconsistent: inspection rules mention three to ten standard photos, while another help article describes three free photos. Check the actual included set and any charge for extra shots. Do not confuse the platform’s visual check with a material test or authentication.

Returns need an early decision
The published policy sets a seven-day window from receipt and requires no more than seven days in warehouse inventory. The seller must accept a return and the item must be resalable, with the required proof of purchase and components intact. Treat the warehouse arrival date as the point to act, not the later delivery to your home.
The policy quotes 12 RMB return postage for a change of mind, mistaken purchase or budget reason. Seller mistakes and quality issues follow different responsibility rules, with exceptions and possible negotiation. Ask support to confirm acceptance, postage and refund handling before sending anything back.
Plan storage around the first arrival
The help describes 90 free days from the “In warehouse” status and a total maximum of 180 days with an applicable extension. Check the expiry shown for each item; separately arriving goods can have different deadlines. The extension price is not consistently published, so obtain it from the account before choosing to wait.
Waiting to combine items may save some handling, but it also uses storage time and can create a large box. Check parcel size, restricted-item rules and the shipping quote before committing to consolidation.
Treat parcel cover as a separate decision
Parcel insurance is optional, paid and subject to the selected line, insured value, exclusions, deadlines and evidence requirements. The public compensation rules distinguish delay, loss and other events; a compensation example is not a promise that your claim will be accepted.
Read the offer on the submission page before shipment. Keep the item values, tracking history, parcel weight and packaging evidence. A long delivery estimate, a missing scan and a declared loss are different situations. Ask support which rule and reporting deadline apply to the particular parcel.
Send the information support needs
For a purchase issue, provide the order number, selected variant, seller link and the specific mismatch. For a parcel issue, add its number, tracking event, destination and dated photos. For an unexpected deduction, provide the transaction entry and the authorisation settings relevant to that order or parcel.
Use the support entry inside the corresponding Fansbuy order or Fansbuy’s help centre. Avoid posting payment records, addresses or account identifiers in public community channels. This independent guide cannot change an order, issue a refund or access a wallet.
